Sharon Eve Sonenblum, PhD

Dr. Sharon Sonenblum is an Associate Research Professor at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University and a member of the Center for Data Science. She brings over 20 years of experience focused on the integration of assistive technology into everyday life and a dedicated commitment to understanding tissue health and pressure injury prevention. In the pursuit to improve pressure injury outcomes, her research focus has spanned etiology, behavioral contributions, big data analysis, and the evaluation of technologies designed for prevention and detection. Kathleen Jordan

Kathleen Jordan is a Senior Research Specialist with a background in Biomedical Engineering. She has been the human subjects coordinator on multiple research studies investigating pressure injury prevention in persons with SCI/D over the past 5 years and has recruited dozens of individuals who use wheelchairs. She has experience with testing pressure sensor mats and related hardware in order to optimize data output from various wheelchair in-seat activity trackers.

Glory Tomi John, BS

Master of Nursing Candidate, Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, Emory University. Glory John is a nursing professional dedicated to improving healthcare equity and patient outcomes. She is currently pursuing a Master of Nursing at Emory University, where she serves as the InEmory Cohort President and works as a research assistant at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing Center for Data Science. In this role, she assists in research on pressure injury prevention through innovative skin health technology. Alongside her research experience in developmental biology and clinical trials, her clinical expertise spans hospice, medical-surgical, and oncology settings. Glory is committed to advancing healthcare through leadership, research, and a deep focus on equitable, patient-centered solutions.
